Welcome to our July Newsletter!

There is always something growing at Interleaf Ink, and lately, our community has been especially busy. We have been welcoming new authors and readers, coordinating feedback for works in progress and upcoming releases, expanding the ways we support authors, and preparing for new opportunities to connect both online and in person.

In this newsletter, we are sharing a look at what has been happening behind the scenes, the projects and people we are excited to celebrate, and a few ways you can become more involved with Interleaf Ink. Whether you are an author searching for thoughtful reader support, a reader eager to discover something new, or a community partner helping stories find their way into the world, we are grateful you are here.

We are almost to 100 readers!

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to read with us. If you have anyone in your life who would be interested in joining our team, please provide them our information. We'd love to hit 100 readers by the end of July.

Conclusion of ARC Session: Insights from "Tidy Less, Live More" by Don Suttajit

In Tidy Less, Live More, Don Suttajit offers readers a thoughtful and transformative approach to decluttering that goes far beyond storage bins, organizing hacks, and surface-level routines. His work invites readers to look more closely at their relationship with their belongings, their spaces, and the habits that may be keeping them from living with greater freedom and intention.

We are excited to share that reviews are beginning to come in for Don’s book, and we are thrilled to be part of his author journey. It has been a pleasure helping connect his work with readers who can engage with his ideas, share meaningful feedback, and help build momentum for the book.

There is still time to join the ARC team for Tidy Less, Live More. If you are interested in receiving an advance copy and sharing your honest review, please reach out to Interleaf Ink today so we can get the book into your hands.

Happy reading!

Throbbing Bass by J. Lee Ott (available now until July 17th)

temporary book cover for Throbbing Bass by J. Lee Ott

Artists are the truth speakers.

Reaching into us and showing us what we need to see, what we’ve been hiding from ourselves. Lifting the mask of expectation for just a moment, setting us free to be exactly as we are without judgement or repercussion. At least, that’s what his music is to me.

Weeping Fox is a one man show that’s tapped into something I didn’t understand was in me. Something that has always been aching to be set free, and now that I’ve met him, nothing will ever be the same again.

Especially when his best friend looks at me like I’m what inspires him.

Maybe it’s irrational to think I can find my place with these two very different men, but maybe, just maybe, together is how we find our truth. How we find the path out of the shadows and into the light. Into love.

Throbbing Bass is an emotional mfm romance full of heart and humor that explores the connection between writing and music, love and grief, and neurodivergence and kink. It includes sexual content not meant for those under 18, and reader discretion is advised.

There is still time to join the WIP Alpha team for Throbbing Bass. If you are interested in receiving a copy and sharing your honest review, please reach out to Interleaf Ink today so we can get the book into your hands.

Upcoming Book Releases

When Shadows Burn by Bridgett Evans

London Reign has spent her life hiding what she is—a halfling born with the forbidden Spark. She carries a power the Tribunal has hunted for centuries. In Solvaria, those who possess the Spark are not imprisoned. They are erased.

But as her magic goes on the fritz, her secret threatens to destroy everything she holds dear.

Kieran Alexander is a Collector, one of the Tribunal’s most feared hunters. Bound by oath and shadow, his duty is simple: find those marked by the Spark and deliver them to judgement.

But when Kieran meets London, he hesitates. For there is something ancient stirring beneath London’s fire. Something calls to him.

As the prophency begins to unravel and long-buried truths surface, London discovers her power may be tied to Kieran whose own past has been carefully rewritten, concealing a truth powerful enough to shake the foundation of the realm.

With enemies closing in, and fate tightening its grip, Kieran must decide whether London is truly what the realm should fear—or the spark that should be set free.

Because some fires were never meant to be extinguished.

The Relentless Pursuit of Ora Bennett by Nico Teop

To readers, Ora Bennett is a bestselling novelist—precise, controlled, and devastatingly honest on the page. Off it, they live quietly and carefully, knowing that being fully seen has always come with a cost.

Adrianna Morgan has never had the luxury of disappearing. Born into wealth and expectation, the global pop icon is adored, watched, and endlessly consumed. She knows how to command a stage, control a headline, and shape a narrative.

Then Ora writes a poem in response to one of Adrianna’s songs.

When it goes viral, a voice meant to disappear into the crowd lands directly in front of Adrianna. A courtroom confrontation finally brings them face-to-face, turning curiosity into a relentless pursuit involving Swedish Fish, stubborn boundaries, and the unsettling recognition of being understood by someone who should not know them at all.

Adrianna must learn that love cannot be chased into existence. Ora must decide whether being known is worth the risk of being hurt.

The Relentless Pursuit of Ora Bennett is a romance about visibility, vulnerability, and the courage it takes to cross the line between safety and love.
